Designing a Tetris headquarter presents a unique opportunity to incorporate elements of the iconic game into the architecture design. The Tetris headquarter design does not only pay homage to the game but also provide a functional and comfortable workspace for employees. Balancing the aesthetics with practicality and ergonomics meet with this design. As an innovative and visually appealing architectural design, this project turns the Tetris headquarter into an iconic landmark within the city.

It is a residential building near a lake within 923 m2 area. It has been designed as a villa for an artist couple. The villa has two floors and two different masses designed at different heights considering functions. In the first mass,there are daily living spaces (rooms), and in the second mass, there is a painting area with a storage. Between these two masses,there is an entrance doorway area with high ceiling and daylight. The second mass includes bedrooms.The connection between these sections was provided by a steel bridge. On facede, composite facade covering and sandy basalt are used

BATU_FNSS MILDESIGN 2019
BATU means strong, invincible, durable in Turkish.
Its form is inspired from carapace. Like all the meanings of its name, Batu is a strong, invincible and durable wheeled armored combat vehicle (WACV).
Due to its expanding form from bottom to the top, it has huge inside area which can be used multifunctional such as storage for different purposes.
Including driver, it has max 10 personnel capacity.

 

The structure resting on the bearing bases of arch or semi arch character has a reduced impact on the soil,so allows the soil to enjoy rain and breathe in. A block composed of four villa units has the chance to enjoy the view panoramically with the mechanism capable of rotating 360 degrees a day. The project gets part of its energy supply from wind roses. Each villa unit might get involved in organic agriculture on its own area in the amidst of various flowers, trees encircled with artificial or real ponds.

Ottomans are upholstered furniture used as stool, coffee table etc to make people comfortable. Refered to its root, these furniture has been named after Ottoman Empire. On the other hand, cintemani motif which consists of three main circles and circles drawn within has a profound meaning in Ottoman culture and it is a well-known and widely used cultural figure. This pattern is considered as the symbol of strength, power and sovereignty. I'd like to combine and synthesize the motif and ottoman in one unique and modern design.

Chinte ottoman has not just been designed for home use, but also for wide areas such as museums, atriums, lobbies. It can be produced in countless different colour combinations, from many different materials and in different sizes according to place it will be used, if desired. Due to its sectional mechanism, it can be used seperately if needed. As well as it provides the owner put-your-feet-up comfort, chinte can also be used as extra seats for guests for home use. The innermost part made of wood or fabric provides storage space inside for magazines, books etc or scattered things around that should be quickly out of sight when needed.

The building is a sample of contemporary architecture.The roof of the building is totally covered with a solar panel that produces the energy needed for total energy consumption by the household.Thanks to the roof style, the rain and snow water can be accumulated to be later utilized in the storages which are the main bearings of the building at the same time.The self-contained structure resting on the three bearing bases has a reduced impact on the soil,so allows the soil to enjoy rain and breathe in.

The life quality depends on the air quality individuals breathing. In order to enchance the life quality of city residents, the air quaility has to be improved. As a result, OXY2050 was born. The inspiration for OXY2050 comes from diatoms which are tiny, usually single-celled photosynthetic organisms, gaining energy from the sun using chlorophylls.It is estimated that 40% of the earth’s oxygen (02) is produced through the photosynthetic activities of diatoms.

Inspired by diatoms, the OXY2050 was designed as a urban air cleaner to purify huge amount of polluted street air. OXY2050 receive significant volumes of street air, and safely treat the air with chemical solutions containing potassium hydroxide, activated carbon, calcium hydroxide, and water inside and release the purified air through their sprayers.

Controlling by remote controllers, the OXY2050 floats over polluted area with the help of helium filled outer shell.It absorbs the polluted air through absorbing turbines.The absorbed air mass is treated with chemical solutions such as potassium hydroxide, activated carbon,calcium hydroxide.After treatment,the purified air is transfered to purified air storages.The purified air releases through sprayers until the air quality becomes moderate.So the hazardous polluted air of the city becomes purified.
